Soft tissue impaction and partial bone impaction are the two ways that this might occur. When the impacted tooth is simply covered in soft gum tissue, this is known as a soft tissue impaction. Additionally, it can happen when the tooth is totally or partially covered in bone (partial bony impaction). However, not all of these teeth are necessarily problematic. Anyone can get an impacted permanent tooth. Additionally, there is no need to extract teeth if the impact does not harm nearby teeth.
