Safe to say, the Indian contingent is showcasing is true potential every passing day in the Tokyo Paralympics Summer Games 2020. After a breathtaking set of performances on Monday, Day 7 saw nerves of steel from some Indian athletes. Track and Field seems to be the sporting category in which India have stomped their dominance so far and in the long jump (sports class: T63,) Mariyappan Thangavelu and Sharad Kumar ensured a silver and bronze medal respectively. Earlier in the day, Singhraj Adana held his nerves to ensure a third medal by winning a bronze in the Men's 10m Air Pistol SH1 Final. On the other hand, India?s marquee archer Rakesh Kumar had to face a nail-biting defeat at the hands of Xinliang Al of China.
