TNPL 2021 will be the 5th edition of the TNPL . After getting all the permissions from BCCI and taking all the safety measures TNPL will be started on 19 July and finals will be played on 15 August . All matches will be held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk, Chennai.Prominent players such as R Ashwin, Washington Sundar and Varun Chakravarthy are part of the squads, but are unlikely to participate due to international commitments. The eight teams play against each other in the league phase Teams will get two points for each win. At the end of the league stage, top four teams in the points table will qualify for the playoffs.
