According to the American airlines cancelation policy, you can cancel flight tickets up to 24 hours from the scheduled departure in order to get a full refund is applicable for all ticket types. You can get a refund on non- refundable tickets only if your flight ticket is within 24 hours from the scheduled departure. Also you can only get a refund on non-refundable if any kind of schedule change of your flight more than 4 hours.
