There are many aspects that go into making a good leader. This is true of any leadership position and it's no different in the Florida State Fire College. A good leader is a good communicator who knows how to deal with group dynamics and provide positive motivation for their team. They are also experienced in all aspects of management theory as it relates to the Fire Services and they can demonstrate a good knowledge of fire department organization and administration.
