Offering quality patient care in the back of a moving ambulance isn�t only daunting, it�s life-threatening and can lead to some serious injury in a vehicle crash. A halt with a jerk, swerve or slight fender bender can cause some serious injury to uninhibited passengers. In the last ten years, there�s been an increasing body of knowledge that recommends ambulance crashes are regular events in our industry. Research and data collection on EMS injuries and vehicle accidents have compelled this industry to identify that we have a major safety issue.
