The need for a battery backup system

The battery backup system provides power to the electric appliances when the primary source of power is not available. These batteries can range from tiny single cells up to a room full of batteries to supply uninterrupted power for the large data centres. The small backup batteries can be primary cells and the backup batteries which are rechargeable are charged by the primary power source.
