The Magical Bacalar Lagoon

The Bacalar Lagoon is a natural wonder in Mexico. Located in Oaxaca, the lagoon is formed by two rivers (the Papaloapan and Miahuatl?n) that join together and form a 15km long lake. It's a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the tranquillity of nature. The lagoon is home to various wildlife, including birds and other animals that live in the thick vegetation around the lake.
