Plaster Sand is a clean, washed river sand that is finely graded and used for internal and external rendering and plastering. Plastering sand is washed to reduce the risk of salt stains that minimizes the risk of damp and shrinkage and helps to provide a consistent, crack-free finish. It creates a smooth and even finish and can be used for filling cracks. Plastering sand is not as coarse as concrete sand, but is less fine than building sand.
