The global milk market is expected to record a modest growth rate of about 5% between 2019 and 2028. Population growth is one of the main drivers of demand for dairy products such as milk, cheese and butter. Increased disposable income, coupled with heightened health concerns, is also expected to boost global dairy demand. In recent years, the world`s milk production has increased significantly. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), global milk production increased by almost 2.0% in 2020 to reach 906 million tonnes.
