The Evolution of Seiko watches

Watchessaleonline19 Jan, 2023Fashion

Seiko, which means ?precise? in Japanese, originally appeared on watch faces in 1924 and has been legally used since the Daini Seikosha Co. was established in 1937. Seiko started the firm that would become Suwa Seikosha Co. in 1959 under the name Daiwa Kogyo Ltd. Daini Seikosha and Suwa Seikosha both kept up their internal competition by continuing to make Seiko-branded watches. Daini changed its name to Seiko Instruments, Inc. (SII), and Suwa?s to Seiko Epson Corporation.
