The Differences Between Scripting and Programming Languages

All scripting languages may be used as programming languages, but the reverse is not true. The fundamental contrast is that scripting languages are not compiled but rather interpreted. Developers used programming languages before the development of scripting languages to produce software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Internet Explorer, and so on. However, there remained a demand for additional functions in languages, which led to the development of scripting languages.
