The 2 Step Evaluation

Mark06 Feb, 2025Business

The 2 Step Evaluation is a popular model used by many prop firms, such as FTMO and MyForexFunds, to assess trader before offering them a funded account. It consists of two stages: the first stage involves meeting profit targets and adhering to risk management rules over a specified period. If successful, traders then move to the second stage, where they are required to demonstrate consistency and the ability to manage risk over a longer duration. Once both stages are completed successfully, trader is granted a funded account, allowing them to trade with the firm's capital while keeping a share of the profits. This structured approach ensures that traders are tested in real market conditions, providing firms with confidence in their trading abilities.
