Mild Perioral dermatitis is a rash that affects the area around the mouth and causes inflammation. The rash may extend to the nose or possibly the eyes. Periorificial dermatitis is the term used in this situation. A scaly or red bumpy rash around the mouth is the most common symptom. A clear fluid discharge is possible. There may be some redness, itching, and burning.
