If breaking World records is an art, then Sumit Antil is surely the Picasso of it. India?s Javelin thrower Sumit Antil produced a sensational performance at Tokyo Paralympics as he broke the world record in Men?s Javelin throw F64 final for three times. Sumit broke the World record in his first attempt and thereafter, went on to improve the World record in his second and fifth attempt. Sumit Antil threw a monumental throw of 66.95 m in his first attempt to better the previous World record and went on to improve it in his second attempt (68.08 m) before setting another one in his fifth attempt with a monstrous throw of 68.55 m. His third throw was of 65.27 m, while his fourth was of 66.71 m. His final (sixth) throw was invalid.
