SSC JE is conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for the recruitment for Junior Engineers from various branches of engineering which includes Civil, Electrical and Mechanical. SSC JE exam is conducted in two papers -Paper I and II. The candidates who cleared both the papers are selected to be posted at either of the State/Central Government offices including CPWD, Water commission, MES, Farrakka Barrage Project, Central Water Power Research Station and Quality Assurance Naval.
