Hot air ballooning is an extreme sport. A hot air balloon, or simply a balloon, is a type of aircraft that arises from the Archimedean force that occurs in liquids and gases due to the difference in pressure below and above the body. A balloon moves horizontally only with the help of the wind, so it differs from an airship, whose movement in the sky is controlled. In 1783, the world saw for the first time a hot air balloon made of paper and filled with smoke and hot air rising into the sky, created by the French brothers Montgolfier.
