Three internet service providers dominated the market in 2022. At the start of 2022, Verizon was on top. Spectrum has taken over the position that Cox previously held. Spectrum jumped from third to first place in a short period of time (183.74 Mbps to 212 Mbps). AT&T dropped from fifth to sixth place but then increased its speed from 146.64 Mbps to 167.32 Mbps. Optimum debuted on the list in fifth place, with a download speed of 176.03 Mbps.
