If sound has double the number of decibels of a second sound, we won�t hear the first sound as it is twice as loud. As a matter of fact, we would hardly notice the difference. We would only generally perceive that a sound has become twice as loud when the number of decibels had enhanced by 10. This will make sound measurement much simpler.
