The type, style, and design of the natural slate roof will all affect how it is installed. Pallets of slates are used for delivery, and they are stacked long way up. Slates must be graded and sorted into three or four thicknesses after being taken off of their pallets. Nailing and hook fixing are the two ways to affix natural roofing slates.
