Aikyashree (oikosri) is a scholarship programme administered by the West Bengal state government. The programme is governed by the West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC; wbmdfc scholarship.org). This scholarship programme was established by the West Bengal government in 2019?20 to help financially disadvantaged students from minority classes. Students from the Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsi groups who are struggling financially are eligible for assistance under this programme. To receive the benefits, individuals must, however, meet some stringent qualifying requirements. From Class 1 through PhD level, the Aikyashree scholarship programme pays the cost of education for low-income students. The recipients must submit a new application whenever necessary to maintain their eligibility.
