Schiphol Airport records 108% increase in cargo flights

As the number of flights to and from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol fell by 87 percent in May compared to the same period last year, to a total of 5,878, the number of cargo flights rose by 1,318, rising 108 percent compared to the same month last year, totalling 2,543.The traffic figures for May 2020 show that the increase in the number of full cargo flights was mainly to North America, which saw a spike of 414 percent, and Asia, which saw a rise of 161 percent.
