In March 2025, Saturn's rings will temporarily vanish from Earth's view due to an optical alignment. As Saturn orbits the Sun every 29.4 years, its 26.73-degree axial tilt causes the rings to appear edge-on from our perspective approximately every 13 to 15 years. During this alignment, the rings' thin profile reflects minimal light, rendering them nearly invisible. This phenomenon last occurred in 2009.
