Sargam Koushal Won the Mrs World Title for India after 21 years

Sargam Koushal made proud India after beating Mrs Polynesia in the Mrs World beauty pageant competition for married women. She created history after 21 years by bringing back the title to India. She was a competing contestant from 63 countries. Sargam represented India at the Mrs World 2022 ceremony that took place in Las Vegas on Sunday. Previously Dr. Aditi Govitrikar was the first Indian woman to bag the title for India in 2001. Finally, after a long wait of 21 years, history was revived by Sargam?s achievement. This victory is nostalgic as it reminds of Harnaaz Sandhu?s success at Miss Universe the previous year as she too won the crown after 21 years of the big achievement of Lara Dutta in 2000. Indians are proud of Sargam?s success as the news of her victory took over on social media. Mrs. Polynesia stood as the first runner-up succeeded by Mrs. Canda as the second runner-up.
