Apart from the soul, God (the Supreme consciousness) and ?kaal? (Time ? the duration of the existence of whole universe) are also immortal. So, out of the five basic truths, these are the three basic truths that are eternal. The other two basic truths ? material nature and ?karma? (the actions and their effects) are not eternal. Material nature temporary and has its own time fixed by the energies of the God. ?Karma? may appear to be eternal because of the prolonged effects of ?karma?, but in reality, the effects of ?karma? can be destroyed or eliminated.
