The Funeral Prayer The Pillars of the Funeral Prayer 1- Standing if possible. 2- Saying four takbeers. 3- Reciting suratu al-Fatiha. 4- Sending blessings upon the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.) 5- Praying for the deceased. 6- Performing the aforementioned in the stated sequence.
