Roy W. The Dean Film Grant is given three times every year to films that are inimitable and provide a message for society. This award is named in memory of Carole's father name Roy W. Dean. On behalf of Heart Productions, the 501(c)3 nonprofit sponsoring the Grant, this year is also giving an applicant the Brit Penrod Award with a film that makes an incomparable contribution to society.
