Road Trip Day

After months of quarantine, we were itching to see family back in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We finally bit the bullet, packed the car, and took the 17-hour road trip down to Florida. The kids were amazing and enjoyed the endless snacks, unrestricted iPad time, random stops, sights, and little adventures along the way. Yes there was a speeding ticket involved, yes we may have run out of gas, and YES I may have initially left my wallet at home...BUT the impromptu Katy Perry dance session made it all better. With the kids out of school for so many months, it has been a series of ups, downs, laughs, and tears. This year has been filled with experiences that we never would have had otherwise. Memories have been made that we are so grateful for.
