Road marking materials are used to produce road markers on routes and roads to provide information to vehicles and pedestrians as well as providing signs on motorways, streets, berms, parking lots, and airfields. To improve road safety and avoid driveway confusion, the markers are uniform. The two categories of materials utilised for road marking are paint-based marking and performance-based marking materials. Water-based, epoxy, polyurethane-based, and solvent-based paints are the several types of paint used for marking. Cold plastics and thermoplastics are the two types of performance-based marking.
