There are several reasons for Resolving Canon Printer Error 6000, including a paper jam, an incorrectly seated ink tank, and more. 1- An ink cartridge is not installed correctly 2- Remove the ink cartridges and put them back 3- The paper is jammed or there is an object inside the printer. 4- Inspect the printer to confirm that there are no paper debris from a paper jam and that there are no foreign objects inside your machine 5- The printer needs to be restarted. 6- Press the power button to turn off the printer. 7- Disconnect the data cable from the printer (not applicable to Wi-Fi?, Bluetooth?, or infrared). 8- Unplug the power cord from the printer for about 10 minutes, and then plug it back in. 9- If the power cord is plugged into a surge protector, it may be necessary (for testing purposes) to plug the cord directly into the wall outlet. 10- Reconnect the data cable (not applicable to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or infrared).
