Resolve Marine: OPA Service

Resolve Marine and partner The Great Lakes Towing Company hosted customers, the USCG and the Cleveland Fire Department in Cleveland, Ohio USA for live demonstrations of OPA 90 SMFF firefighting capabilities, response tactics and equipment. The event provided attendees an opportunity to learn about available resources to meet SMFF requirements. Our vessel tracking and monitoring teams conduct Remote Assessment and Consultation Exercises (RACE) in compliance with SMFF OPA 90. Established by the USCG and other federal agencies, the National Preparedness for Response Exercise Program (NPREP) ensures OPA 90 oil pollution response compliance. In 2024, our duty officers conducted 643 RACE drills.
