Recessed Flange Isolators designed for high load capacity combined with relatively large static deflections in an axial direction. Their high loading for a given size is obtained by utilising the rubber to the best advantage in both compression and shear. Isolators listed in the following pages are normally assembled with overload and rebound washers to control and limit the movement of the suspended equipment under the action of shock loads. The central fixing bolts should be torque tightened to the recommended values.
