According to Deadline, Apple TV+ is adapting Min Jin Lee's 2017 sophomore novel, Pachinko. The film depicts four generations of a Korean immigrant family as they voyage across Korea, Japan, and the United States during the Japanese occupation, World War II, and beyond. It's a terrible examination of racism, nationalism, and immigration wrapped up in a forbidden love storey.
