Radiodermatitis, often known as radiation dermatitis, is a skin illness caused by radiation therapy used to treat cancer. Acute and/or persistent skin changes may occur, posing a risk to one's quality of life both during and after RT. Treatment delays, a loss of cosmesis, and functional impairments are all possible radiation reactions.
