Resolve by making backup If the backup file name is incorrect or exceeds the character limit of 210 characters, go to a new location and restore the backup files by following these steps: Make sure that the system isn?t running in a multiuser environment. Restore the backup files that are stored on the system. Later, check if the error code still exists. Change the name of the QB Company file to one that does not contain more than 120 characters if the error code is still present. Recheck the error code.
