The learning environment strongly influences student engagement by shaping how comfortable, motivated, and involved students feel in the educational process. Supportive and well-structured environments that include positive teacher–student interactions, collaborative spaces, and adequate learning resources encourage active participation and sustained attention. Both physical factors, such as classroom design and technology availability, and psychological factors, such as a sense of safety and belonging, play a critical role in engagement levels. When students perceive the learning environment as inclusive and stimulating, they are more likely to interact, ask questions, and invest effort in learning.
