I grew up in an area where people needed healthcare, and this made me want to become a doctor. The prospect of being able to help improve the health and quality of life of patients seemed very rewarding to me on both a personal and professional level. I decided to specialize in allergy, asthma and immunology because it involves working with patients of all ages and finding the solutions they need to live normal, active lives without limitations.
