US President Joe Biden has announced his selections for 4 key religious freedom roles. It includes the Muslim-American father of a slain US soldier, Khzir Khan. He became an outspoken critic of former President Donald Trump throughout both campaigns. Khan was appointed as a commissioner of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. Point to be noted that it is a body that monitors and investigates religious freedom issues across the globe.
