The General Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted for 29 papers, with General Aptitude (GA) being a common section among all the papers. Out of the total 100 marks, it carries a crucial 15 marks allotted for 10 GA questions. Considered as a rank booster, General Aptitude can bring you closer to cut-off marks and get you your dream score. However, with the recent introduction of new sections/topics: Quantitative, Analytical, and Spatial Aptitude, the importance of the General Aptitude section has increased substantially.
