Starting by sitting in an easy posture. Keep the spine and the neck straight. This will be the basic position for most of the exercises. Using the thumb close the right nostril and from the other nostril inhale deeply. Restrain your breath for a second and then press the other nostril and release the first one. Exhale from this nostril. Repeat this several times.
