Edmont carried out a complex and large scale upgrade to the M&E services at one of the Cotswold?s most prestigious estates. More power was required in order to facilitate the commercial activities of the estate, so following in-depth design meetings, an 800KvA was decided upon. As this exceeded the local distributors available capacity, a new HV substation was commissioned. The dedicated supply was brought into a newly built energy centre, and from there was distributed around the estate. The works involved subterranean cabling and heavy-duty switch gear to handle the current required.
