Elbow pipes or commonly known as ?bends? are used as a connection point between two lengths of pipes to change the direction of flow in the pipe. They are usually manufactured at angles of 90?, 45? or 180? and are available in a range of materials such as Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel and Alloy Steel etc. While the 90? bends are manufactured as short radius elbows and long radius elbows, the 45? elbows are typically manufactured only as long radius elbows.
