New Delhi. Before the Lok Sabha elections, petroleum companies gave relief to the people and reduced the prices of petrol and diesel. The prices of petrol and diesel have been reduced by Rs 2 per liter. The reduced prices have come into effect across the country from 6 am today. Let us tell you that before the decision of the Central Government, Rajasthan Government had announced to reduce VAT on petrol and diesel by 4 percent. Earlier the prices were reduced about 22 months ago.
