Perth Cultural Centre Set For $35 Million Revamp

The McGowan Government has committed a further $15 million to the project, in addition to $20 million of joint State-Commonwealth investment. The project?s aim is to enhance connection between WA Museum Boola Bardip, the Art Gallery of Western Australia, State Library and State Theatre Centre, as outlined in the PCC Masterplan. The freshen up will include new broad and shady central spaces, the demolition of the amphitheatre and increased accessibility, while at the eastern end the AGWA car park will be demolished.
