A raster image processor (RIP) is a component used in a printing system which produces a raster image also known as a bitmap. Such a bitmap is used by a later stage of the printing system to produce the printed output. New interactive white ink controls have been added to this powerful software RIP. The new controls for masking and silhouetting work with backgrounds that are transparent, black or colored. With the newly added density and contrast controls you can create more accurate white layers.
