Panel Mount GFCI Breaker

Everyonessolar29 Nov, 2022Business

GFCI outlets are plugs that will break the circuit if they sense a difference of 4 to 6 milliamps between the hot and neutral wires. Circuit breakers stop the flow of electricity when the circuit is overloaded. Most of the time, you can't replace a GFCI or AFCI breaker with a regular circuit breaker. If you do, it's almost certainly against the code. By putting one in the service panel (breaker box), GFCI protection is added to the wiring and all devices and appliances connected to the circuit.
