Palmetto St. Augustine is a low-maintenance turf grass with a beautiful dark green color because it is not as strictly defined as most other turf grasses. It's an excellent choice for golf courses and athletic fields because of its long-lasting color retention. It has a flexible root system that is excellent for slopes and shady areas.
