Overheat of Diesel Generating Sets

Dingbo Power Generator23 May, 2023Technology

Generator set produces high temperature by itself when working. In summer, temperature is high and the peak of electricity consumption. So it is better to prevent generator set overheating. Here are some reasons for generator set overheat for reference: 1. Coolant water is not enough causing diesel engine overheating; 2. Serious burning of engine oil causes excessive carbon deposit and poor heat dissipation; 3. Oil supply time is too late, which causing diesel engine overheating; 4. Long term use of hard water causes a lot of scale forming in water tank and water channel, leading to poor heat dissipation; 5. There are too many impurities in the water channel of the engine block and cylinder head, which makes the water circulation not smooth and causes poor heat dissipation; 6. After maintenance, generator set is put into full load operation immediately, causing overheat of moving parts or jamming due to too small clearance;
