Overhauling of Main Engine and Ship Auxiliary Engine

Wartsila 12V32 engine that was placed on one of the vessels owned by a Greek company, was recently given repair and overhaul by our organization. Technicians with a portable crankshaft grinding machine were sent by RA Power. Crankpins were found to have excessive ovality. It was ground to 0.5 mm undersize while closely adhering to the limits and requirements outlined in the Wartsila maintenance manual.
