Nizonide 500 Tablet contains Nitazoxanide, which is used orally to treat parasitic/protozoal diarrhoea. Parasites are microorganisms that live in other people's bodies and reproduce by consuming their nutrients. This medication inhibits their energy production, effectively killing the parasites (Giardia and Cryptosporidium species).
